“Be kind whenever possible. It is always possible.” - Dalai Lama

We all have times in which we struggle in life and need a helping hand. We face choices in life, circumstances come up. Life happens and our normal ways of dealing and coping aren't working. I utilize a person-centered approach, working with the client to find what works, as I recognize that there is no "one size fits all" when it comes to an individual's unique needs. I approach with empathy and free of judgment. I specialize in managing depression, anxiety, anger management, adoption issues, issues with disabilities, substance abuse concerns, spiritual issues, and LGBTQ+ issues.

I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, mindfulness, Narrative Therapy, and a variety of other evidence-based, person-centered approaches to meet the needs of my clients. I am solution-focused and strengths-focused. The goal is to find the approach that works for the individual. Working together we can accomplish therapeutic goals set by my client.

Feel free to give me a call or email and we can have a conversation to see if we are a good fit to meet your needs. At this time, my services are primarily via telehealth/online counseling via a safe, secure, HIPAA compliant system. However, for those in my immediate geographic area, I do offer in-person options as a member of a wonderful group practice (see hours of operation page). We can work together to make the positive life changes you are seeking. I look forward to taking this journey with you!

About Me:

I was born and raised in a small town near Charlotte, NC, with my younger sister and a small zoo of pets. Looking to be closer to the sea, I found my way to Charleston, SC for nine years before moving to the Myrtle Beach, SC area. I now live near Greensboro, NC. I enjoy travel, kayaking, photography, music, Netflix binging, reading, and time with my friends, loved ones, and pets. I utilize a number of approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Person-Centered Therapy. I specialize in LGBTQ+ issues, working with disabilities, anger management, anxiety, depression, adoption issues, and conflict resolution skills.
